Obituary of Katherine Margaret Hoy

Katherine Margaret Hoy, 81, entered eternal life on Tuesday June 25, 2013 at her home. Katherine married William Hoy in 1953 and was a loving mother to her children. She loved the mountains and music- especially classical music. She was an avid follower of politics and served on the Senior Victim Assistance Team. Katherine is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Tim) Finney , Jody (Steve) Smith , and Patricia (Don) Wells; her sister, Patricia Bowen; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and her daughter in law, Julie Barnett. She is preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Hoy. A Memorial Service celebrating Katherine's life will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, June 29, 2013 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909. In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Pike's Peak Hospice.
