Kevin and Steve, My Mom and I were just wondering about Lucy the other day. I was always so fond of her as a child. She was such a beautiful and classy lady and I LOVED her accent. She always made me feel so special and loved. I will never forget the blizzard of '82 when my little family was stranded on the highway not far from Monument. We were coming from Clovis, New Mexico trying to get home for Christmas. Glenn came and got us and they welcomed us into their home for the holidays. I was actually pregnant with Nichole and not feeling well. Lucy and Glenn and you two were so kind and gracious to us and made us feel at home. It was a memorable holiday. I was blessed to have known such a Godly woman and example of God's love! Kevin and Steve, I will pray for your comfort and peace and will always remember your family with love. Dear Steve & Kevin: This news is never welcome but nevertheless anticipated. Your mother was such a dear friend and fellow church participant. She and your father made a great pair. She and my mom where best of friends. We have fond memories of your parents way before you both became a reality. They were a hoot. WE loved your mom reading our tea leaves. Such fun. And then the stories of her life in England & Ireland. She was a dear heart, full of love for Christ & others. God bless her testimony. She now is enjoying her dedication to the gospel along with many other family members including your dear father. God bless you both & your respective families. Love, Robert & Barbara Nord

We loved Lucy and appreciated her stand for the deep truths of the bible. Lucy was so cleaver and funny. We had many good times together and I will always remember her terrific personality. The last time I saw Lucy and visited with her was when she was living on the east side of I-25 with her sister. She wanted to go to the church camp so I took up to Ponderosa and everyone was so happy to see her and she was very happy to see the saints (especially Dad). Lucy was so pretty, kind and generous. She loved her husband and boys. Her Mom was a real hoot also. Lots of fond memories of the entire family. Will rejoice with Lucy in heaven when I get there. Praise the Lord Jesus. Thank you for your love, grace and mercy in our lives.

One of my earliest memories involving Lucy was snow sledding down Zuni (?) St. near her home and chipping one of my front teeth. Her daughter was very ill, and I experienced such sadness at her passing. I was pretty young at the time. My most vivid memories of Lucy are at church and hearing her sing "In Times Like These." She had such a beautiful voice and was so caring and kind. I wish I could have been there today to honor her passing, but I know I will see her in Heaven. I'm so glad she was in my life. Love, Linda
