Obituary of Minerva Audrey Dettinger
Minerva A. Dettinger, 94, of Osseo, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday August 3, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she moved in 2011 to be close to family. Minerva, daughter of Olius and Bertha (Lee) Johnson was born on June 5, 1919 in Trempeleau County and grew up in Bruce Valley. She attended grade school at Johnson Valley School and high school in Strum and Osseo. She married Milton Dettinger on July 8, 1945 and spent much of her life in the Osseo area. She worked at Osseo Area Hospital and Nursing Home for 35 years. Minerva is survived by her son, Steve (Linda) Dettinger; her grandchildren, Travis (Lisa) Dettinger, Sara (Pat) Mann, and Luke (Erin) Dettinger; seven great-grandchildren, and cousin, Phyllis Prophet. Minerva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milton; and her brother, Kermit Johnson. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
