Obituary of Hazel Rae Saliba

On August 11, 2013, Hazel Rae Saliba departed from this world in a dream. Hazel Rae Saliba was born on September 22, 2011 in Colorado Springs to Dylan & Melanie Saliba. Hazel was adored by all who knew her and loved her family with all of her heart. She loved to give her parents hugs and kisses, as well as her stuffed monkey "Pup-Pup", whom she had just learned to call by name. She was a bright and happy child.Hazel adored the outdoors. Some of her favorite activities included drawing, playing in the rain and chasing bugs. She loved all animals and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo was one of her favorite places to be. She was a compassionate child; kind and beautiful. Hazel is survived by her parents; Dylan and Melanie Saliba, her grandparents; Dave & Patti Traver and Shari Lewis; her aunts, Serina Kelly, Michelle Gorr, and Kristie Traver; and her uncles, Daniel Traver, Dustin Traver, Ron Gorr, and Keith Budro. Visitation will be held at 10AM, Thursday, August 15, 2013 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado, followed by Funeral Service at 12PM.
