Obituary of Carolyn May Hardin
Carolyn Hardin passed away in Peyton, Colorado on October 2, 2013 at the age of 71.She was born in Biddeford, Maine on February 16, 1942 to Wilfred and Sylvia Harris. She grew up in Southern California with three brothers, Sonny, Clinton and John and one sister, Patricia. She married David Hardin, November 12, 1960. Together they raised three children: Susan, Jim, and Carrie. They also have 5 grandchildren, Samantha, Andrew, Daniel, Wesley and Sophie.Carolyn worked for the telephone company many years in California. She began as an operator for Pacific Bell. Later she became a computer operator. She was very involved at church. She volunteered in Children's ministry and Women's ministry. For many years she attended Community Bible Study and became a core group leader. Carolyn was also an artist. She loved to oil paint landscapes and still life's. She was a huge fan of the French Impressionists and also loved Thomas Kincaid's paintings. She also loved to decorate her home and try many other creative tasks.She had a tender heart to anyone in need. She has a history of taken in friends who needed a place to stay.
