Obituary of Tamra Michele Johnson-Rosser

Tamra M. Johnson Rosser, 50, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, formerly of Munster, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2013 in Colorado Springs. She is survived by her mother, Margaret H. Botlo (nee Turpin) of Colorado Springs, her father, Ronald E. Johnson of Munster, Indiana, two sons, Barry D. ("LB"), Rosser Jr, and Tad Michael Johnson, granddaughter, Taliyah Johnson of Colorado Springs, sister, Trina M. Johnson, of Colorado Springs, niece, Tracy M. Johnson of New York, NY, nephews Christopher S. Johnson of Chicago, IL, Jordan A. Johnson and Julian I. Johnson of Colorado Springs. She was preceded in death by her brother Tad Martin Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO / Munster, IN. Also mourning is her best friend, Margaret (Peggy) Rinehart and her three children, Ben Rinehart (David Henderson) of Lakewood, CO, Jessica (Andrew) May and Ginny Rinehart of Colorado Springs, CO. Visitation and her funeral will be held at 6 PM, Saturday, November 9, 2013 at The Springs Funeral Services Chapel, 3115 E. Platte, Colorado Springs, CO. Meeting with the family and light refreshment will follow.Tamra was born February 27, 1963 in Hammond, Indiana. She attended Elliott Elementary School in Munster, Indiana and graduated from Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was a varsity Cheerleader and active in many groups.A devout Christian, Tamra was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Munster, IN and the First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her faith was an inspiration for many and her family was blessed with her leadership and persistence in bringing conflicting points of view to consensus. She was a totally devoted mother and grandmother who will be sorely missed and remembered for her love that was unconditional.
