Obituary of Jeramiah Dean Chamberlin

Jeramiah "J.D." unexpectedly passed away on October 26, 2013. He will be greatly missed by family and many, many, friends.J.D. was born October 2, 1977 in Dumas, Texas to Gail Chamberlin and Denise (Norris) Arellano. He was raised in Fountain, Colorado and participated in many sports during his high school career at Fountain Fort Carson High School (Class of 96). Although he was great at all sports that he played, J.D. had a special passion for baseball. He was lucky enough to find his wife and best friend, Alida (Camelin) Chamberlin, who loved him whole heartedly, and was blessed with 3 beautiful girls: Makyla (10), Ariana (8), and Leila (6). J.D. worked hard at turning his life around for his family, and was a successful provider for them, gaining his journeyman plumbers license in 2012. J.D. was an amazing husband, daddy, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. We are all left with a huge void with his sudden passing. He had a contagious personality that livened up a room when he walked in. He was intimidating when you first met him, but it was soon apparent that he was a big softy that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved his family deeply, and was there whenever anyone needed him. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan, as all his neighbors knew, whenever they were playing, he could be heard yelling for/at them. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Alida; daughters Makyla, Ariana, and Leila Chamberlin; sister April (Chamberlin) West and brother-in-law Glen West; brother Brandan Chamberlin and sister-in-law April (Boyer) Chamberlin; grandparents Lloyd and Pat Chamberlin and Guy Norris Jr.; niece Shayla West; and nephews Dylan West and Brandan "B.J." Chamberlin Jr. J.D. is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who all miss him tremendously. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Norris-Kerst; his aunt, LaNita Hobbs; and his great grandmother, Margaret Johnson.Visitation 6:00PM - 8:00PM, Friday, November 1, 2013 at The Springs Funeral Services 3115 East Platte Avenue Colorado Springs.
