Obituary of Richard "Rick" Thomas Perlin
Thoughts from some of the children:Son Chad says: Rick was a Vietnam vet and served his country with honor. He was a guy with a great sense of humor, and personality. One riddle he really liked was to ask, "what's the difference between a duck? " Answer: One of its feet are both alike.Daughter Briana says: Dad you are the most amazing man I know, I am so blessed my son and daughter grew up knowing Papa, all the high fours and the mustache kisses, we love you so much it's never going to be the same without you were my dad and always we be no one will ever take you place your daughter Briana! Son Gary says: I always remember working with my Dad (construction) and driving down the windy mountain roads. It seemed that everyone we would pass, the approaching car would honk and wave and my dad would return in kind. He was one of those guys that everyone seemed to love and he was certainly easy to love. He had a generous nature and was always willing to lend a hand to neighbors and friends...he was an amazing man. He loved the outdoors and taking his family on camping adventures, he loved cars and working on them, he loved his motorcycles and working on them, he loved his construction business, but mostly, he loved his family.Daughter Kimberly says: Dad, you are such an amazing man. A better Dad than you ever had to be, strong, supportive, loving, kind, forgiving and funny. I love and miss you more with every second that passes. How do you say goodbye Dad? I miss you! Until we meet again, I hope you are tearing up Heaven with your Harley, I love you!Rick is survived by his beloved family, wife, Joanie; children, Chadrick "Chad" Jeremy Perlin, Kimberly Jeanne Perlin, Jennifer Suzanne (Robert) Perlin-Szymanek, Gary Eugene (Wendy) Perlin, Briana Kathleen (Brandon) White, Scott William Vela, Joey Taylor Perlin, his siblings; Donna Skibinskoi, Sally Hollis & Monte Perlin and his beautiful grandchildren, Anna, Sara, Julia, Tyler, Chase, Kaleb, Alyssa, Kaylina, Anjaleena, Jayden & Jenna-Lynn and his faithful dog, Brandy. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jenna Monique Vela and brother; Joseph Perlin.Visitation, 1:30PM-2:30PM, t Rocky Mountain Calvary Church, 4285 N.
