Obituary of Cecil Charles Jensen
Cecil went home to be with the Lord at age 80, surrounded by his loving family. Cecil is survived by his wife of 57 years Jan, his son Rick (Linda), Daughter Joni (Ray) Van Zant. Grandchildren: Larissa (Ryan) Lee, Erica Jensen, Casey (Tim) Cole, Cory Van Zant, Tyler (Ali) Van Zant, Alicia Van Zant, Cody Van Zant, Chris (Ashli) Van Zant, Shane Van Zant. Great Grandchildren: Madison and Peyton Van Zant, Sophia and Jaxson Lee.Sister, Velva June (Bill) Martinie, brothers Marvin (Shirley) Jensen and Keith (Betty) Jensen. In-laws: Karen (Bob) Reichert, Jerry (Joyce) Warner, Earlene (Bob) Baker, Earl Warner, Rosanna Warner – Duane Munroe, 26 nieces, nephews and their spouses. Many aunts, uncles and cousins.He attended Bradley University, University of Illinois College of Engineering, Rhema Bible College. He was currently attending Charis Bible College. Retired from IBM Corp. after 29 years. Retired Pastor of 28 years. Spent one year in Thule Greenland serving in the U.S. Air Force.Cecil loved the Lord, Bible, his family, fishing, camping, backpacking and Jeeping in the mountains.
