Obituary of Delores Elaine Kraft

Delores (Trojanovich) Kraft went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on December 3, 2013. When she passed, she was at the Good Samaritan Society home in Simla with her family at her side. Delores was born April 27, 1930 to Annette (Vanna) and Mike Trojanovich on the family farm north of Calhan, Colorado. Delores attended Excelsior, a one room school outside of Calhan, graduated from Calhan High School in 1948 and married Kenneth Kraft shortly after graduating. They were married for 44 years at the time of Kenneth's death in 1992. Delores worked at the Calhan Creamery, The Farmers State Bank, The First National Bank of Colorado and retired from School District # 11 as a secretary and business manager for Wasson High School. She is survived by three sisters, Darlene Mikita, Gladys Glaser, Sharlene Kohler, and three children, Kenton Kraft, Kathryn McFarland and Kimberly Bjorkman. There are also nine grandchildren and eight, soon to be nine, great grandsons. Delores was a founding member of the St. Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church, Colorado Springs.She will be greatly missed by her many friends, family and work partners. Delores was a very gracious woman who loved the Lord and served Him in many ways. A Prayer Vigil will begin Sunday evening, December 8, at 7:00 p.m., at the St. Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church, 2770 N. Chestnut Street. A combined funeral for Delores and her sister Mary Ann (who passed away December 2, 2013) will be held Monday, December 9 at the church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Society, P.O.
