Obituary of Kathryn Louise Laux

Kathryn Louise (Hanson) Laux, 89 died December 24, 2013 at her home in Colorado Springs. Mrs. Laux was born on August 11, 1924 in Manfred North Dakota to Mable Elenora (Lokensgard) Hanson and Victor Fremont Hanson. She was raised in Robbinsdale, MN and graduated from Robbinsdale High School. A music lover, Mrs, Laux played clarinet with the high school band and the Robbinsdale City Orchestra. She attended St. Olaf College after which she spent many years in Wisconsin. She has been a resident of Colorado Springs since 1996. After retiring from her profession as a medical technologist, Mrs. Laux enjoyed creating beautiful Rosemaled pieces and intricate Hardanger Lace.
