Obituary of Leonard Louis Lemesany

Leonard passed away at his home on January 5, 2014, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Leonard Lemesany was born on August 18, 1940, to George and Pauline (Magura) Lemesany in Calhan, Colorado.He married Jean (Mikita) Lemesany on June 4, 1961. In this union, two children were born; Jennifer and Wayne Lemesany. Leonard taught school in District 11 for thirty years. His interests included fishing, camping, dancing, and spending time with his grandchildren.He is survived by his wife, Jean; his children, Wayne, and Jennifer (Allen) Winmill; his three grandchildren, Townsend Winmill, Cody Lemesany, and Brittany Lemesany; and brother, George. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Pauline; and three siblings, Florence, Eleanor, and Howard. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, January 8, 2014, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1450 5th Street, Calhan, Colorado.Burial will follow at Calhan Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1450 5th Street, Calhan, Colorado 80808 or International Dance Club, 2422 Busch Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80904.
