Obituary of Richard Keith Wetherbee

Dick passed peacefully in his sleep with loved ones around him on Saturday, January 11, at the age of 96.He lead a wonderful life with his wife, Olive, of 63 years, and his children, grandchildren, and more offspring than you can shake a stick at! Including great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Dick was a welder by trade with a passion for music, woodcarving, horseshoe pitching (seven times State Champ) and just being with his wife and family. He touched so many lives and will be missed greatly.Dick was preceded in death by his wife Olive.He and Olive had six children: Sue Rhea, Molly Simmons, Cindy Barry, Rich, Wade, and Amy. 13 grandchildren: Stephanie, Jerod, Jason, Joe, Jenny, Becky, Jerome, Mandy, Sarah, Cheryl, Jenny, Jon, Ben. Dick had a daughter, Connie, from a previous marriage; she had four children.Dick and Olive are again yodeling and singing "Together Again".We all love you so much!A Memorial Service will take place at 2:30PM, Saturday, January 25, at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue.
