Obituary of Jean L. Pelton

Jean L. Pelton, only daughter of Elton and Naomi Owen, was born on December 26, 1926 in La Crosse, Kansas. She peacefully left this world in the early morning hours of January 29, 2014 at the age of eighty-seven. Her home was in Las Cruces, New Mexico, but she was living with her daughter, Linn Fillmore, in Colorado Springs at the time of her death. She is reunited now with her parents, Elton and Naomi; her husband, Don; her only son, Phil; her parents-in-law, Jake and Irene Pelton; her son-in-law, Larry Pickard; her sister, Gertrude Fagerquist; her brothers, Jerry and Tom Owen; as well as beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Left here to miss her in their lives is her daughter, Linn (Lewis) Fillmore; her brothers, Rex (Leoti) and Dick (Jan) Owen; her sister, Carolyn Turner; her grandchildren, Tiffany (Micky) Mills, Ranae (Jonas) Sprowls, Sydney (Mark) Nehler, and Wade (Amanda) Pickard; and her great-grandchildren, Philip Pickard, Maddux and Maverick Mills, Owen Nehler, and Jali and Jaxon Sprowls; and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The destination of all who accept Jesus Christ is Heaven and the gates opened wide for Jean.
