Obituary of Alice A. Martinez

Letters from Alice's family:Alice Martinez was a living angel that has now gone home to be with our Heavenly Father. Alice Martinez was a glorious person. She not only was an incredible mother and caretaker, she was the most amazing wife, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, mother in law, cousin; and to everyone that knew her, best friend. Just to be around Alice was a breath of fresh air. Her persona would brighten up an entire room. Her smile would bring joy to everywhere that she went. Alice had such a unique and funny sense of humor where she would make a joke or comment which would catch you completely off guard which will STILL have you laughing even today. Alice Martinez is unforgettable. She is still with us today and will live with everyone that she has touched for an eternity. You are our forever angel and we love you, Alice Martinez. Love, Your FamilySince the age of 11 years old when I first laid eyes on, you, Alice Martinez, I knew that you would be my girl. I didn't know that there was a such thing as love at first sight, but from this very moment, I was experiencing exactly that. I loved you from this very moment and my love only grew with each and every day. My love for you is still growing today. On April 1st, 1967, in front of God, I was given the greatest gift that I could ever have imagined. The greatest gift of all. This is the day that you became my wife. My best friend. My lover. My everything. 47 years later, we are still married and you are still the love of my life. We raised a wonderful amazing family, Alice, and we have a lot to be proud of. We have lived a full, amazing, life without any regrets. You have made me the happiest person in the world. Although, you have been my rock through all of these years, the saddest day of my life was at 5:58am on February 6th, 2014 when our Heavenly Father decided to separate us as he needs you in heaven. I will never forget our life together, up until the day that you died in my arms. I wouldn't have had it any other way. Please watch over me, my love, until we meet again. I know that we will be together again.
