Heather, I am so sorry about your husband. I have been looking for you for years and did a google search on you. This is the first entry I found. Im so so sorry. I remember the last time i saw you was the first time i met your husband. i rememberthinking "finally she has a great guy that makes her happy". you were constantly smiling around him even though you were exausted and missed your baby (caleb). for those of you who dont know me, i am a childhood friend of heathers. known her for almost 30 years. im so sorry for this families loss. he was a. great guy from the way he is talked about. if you want to talk im not too hard to find. i have a hotmail account under my name no caps. i love you girl and from the bottom of my heart i am praying for you and cj and celest and caleb.

I have not seen Shawn or Heather for about four years. This is really a shock to me. I used to work with Shawn at Safeway. Everyday he came to work he made sure we had enough fun to make up for the ridiculous demands of management. He would talk about his kids beaming with pride and always talked about Heather like a love smitten teenager! We had wonderful times cheering on the Broncos! His smile was a great representation of his sincere heart. I am so sorry Heather . I am praying for your family! You have always been a blessing to me! Love, Jennifer Paquette(Vasquez)

Oh man, there are so many great memories over the years. Shawners was always a gentleman and way more mature and caring than the rest of the boys (my brother being one of them) we hung out with. When we were kids we loved to sing "Shawn, Shawn the leprechaun" and he would jump in the air and click his heels together. I loved our nights spent in Uncle Larry and Aunt Shelly's back room at their house on Court street- we'd play flash light tag and Shawn and Rrissa would scare the crap out of us by telling us scary stories. Being the oldest of us cousins, sometime Shawn was embarrassed to be with us younger ones. When we went to Water World one time, Shawn was carrying in our cooler full of lunch on his shoulder like he was awesome and he spilled it all over the place. Another great memory I have is of Shawn teaching me how to cha-cha in him and Rrissa's living room at their place in Aurora. Of course a few Coors Lights were involved. It just won't be the same without him here. You will be greatly missed Shawners!!!

So many great memories living next door to you guys! Shawn and I always talked about our many nights of having one too many kamikaze shots and crawling over and under the fence to get home....for some reason we didn't want to walk an extra 10 steps to go AROUND the fence!

I can still remember the day Shawn was born. i was 10 years old and preparing to play one a football game. I was so excited to have a nephew that I couldn't stop talking about his birth. Shawn's life hasn't always been easy and certainly he faced trails and tribulations. But his life also had many more blessings. He loved his family and was a role model for caring, and dedication to his children and adoration for his wife. I will always remember hsi quick smile and inviting laugh. My deepest condolences for Heather, his children and parents. You all are and will remain in my prayers and thoughts. We will survive this and continue our paths as God planned for us, always keeping Shawn in our hearts.

I have way too many stories to share. I could sit here and write a novel. One of the many things I'll never forget is how always bought me flowers on every Thanksgiving and every Easter, up until I moved. When I asked why he did that, he simply replied "because you deserve the best." He was the perfect man!

When Shawn was renting our house we had back many years ago. The roof needed replaced, Jerry's day of was a Sunday. It happened to be the day that Denver broncos were playing Dallas cowboys. Shawn was so looking forward to watching the game. Jerry got up early and started roofing, low and behold Shawn was up too, waiting to help. You see a game doesn't matter, if family need help. That was Shawn to the end! Love and cherish Aunt Susan
