Obituary of Gerald Frank Polokoff
Gerald Polokoff was born on June 24, 1925 to Morris and Fannie Polokoff in Kansas City, Kansas.He attended Washburn University and graduated from the University of Kansas, remaining a Kansas Jayhawk basketball fan. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital for many years. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of 65 years; daughters Stefanie (Gary) Neumann, Andi (Bob) Leopoldus, Robin (Gary) Patterson; grandchildren Missy (Corey) O'Brien, Jenny (Jon) Ball, Jessica Patterson and Davyn Housman, Brandon Leopoldus, and Joshua Patterson; and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Mathew Neumann.A Graveside Service will be held, 2PM, Sunday, April 6 at Mt Nebo Memorial Park in Denver, CO.A Memorial Service will be 3PM, Monday, April 7 at Temple Shalom, 1525 E.
