Obituary of James Arley Brown
James Arley Brown, 63, died on April 8, 2014 in Manitou Springs, Colorado. James was born on October 11, 1950 to James H. and Roberta Jean Brown in Fort Gaines, Georgia. He was a 1968 graduate of Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas and attended Columbus University (1970-1972), Columbus Vo-Tech College (1975-1976) in Columbus, Georgia and Charis Bible College (2013-2014) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1975. James was a Line Service Technician for Cutter Aviation in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and camping. James was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Jean Brown. He is survived by his father, James Harvey Brown (Phenix City, Alabama); step-mother, Dean Brown (Phenix City, Alabama); brothers, William L. Brown (Ackworth, Georgia), and Paul B. Brown (New Bern, North Carolina); sister, Kelly Brown Norris (Owensboro, Kentucky); former wives, Kathy Brown (Pleasant Grove, Alabama), Dorothy Nichols (Manitou Springs, Colorado), Debra Lynn Dearston (Appleton City, Missouri); daughter, Dusty Brown Burgess (Appleton City, Missouri); son, Adama Brown (Manitou Springs, Colorado); granddaughter, Caitlin Corley; and great-granddaughter, Kyrie Corley. Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Monday, April 21, 2014, at Auburn Heights Baptist Church, Auburn Road, Phenix City, Alabama.
