Obituary of Edward Eugene Englert

Ed passed away on April 9th 2014 after a battle with cancer. Ed was born in and spent his entire life in Colorado Springs. In his early years, Ed was a U. S. Marine and later in life worked in and owned his own construction business. After his two heart attacks he retired and eventually began helping with the shopping and maintenance at Milt's Coffee Shop where he enjoyed spending his days.Ed was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved riding his four wheeler on mountain trails. His skills as a carpenter were often used to help others all through his life. His caring and helpful nature will be missed by many.He is survived by his son Michael Englert of Rangely, Colorado, his niece Janet Bowers of Colorado Springs and his many friends who were like family to him.A Memorial Service will be held at Milt's Coffee Shop, 2314 East Platte Avenue on April 23, 2014 at 3:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ed's name to either the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
