Obituary of Elizabeth Eva Hoskins

On 15 April 2014 Libby Hoskins, longtime resident and dedicated community volunteer of Fountain Colorado, gracefully - yet suddenly departed. Libby's passion was her volunteering, as Vice President of Dream Power and Pals Forever animal rescue, the Military Order Of Purple Heart Chapter 423 - Ladies Auxiliary. Working her pet rescue mission, she was quick to pick up the rescue hotline with her always calming voice and compassionate guidance to the caller, who may be surrendering their beloved pet due to deployments, divorce or other reasons – Libby was always able to provide the right care solutions, leaving the pet owner with the knowledge that their loved one would be cared for in a loving home. For those wanting to adopt a pet, Libby left no stone unturned – ensuring that the adoptive parents were able to care for their new "bundle of joy". Many will tell you, Libby wasn't shy about letting those who she felt wouldn't provide proper care know that it wasn't a good time for them to consider adoption. Libby was also passionate about so many other projects she embraced: ensuring the Fountain Valley Police Department K-9 unit received protective gear, the many care packages she sent to the Military K-9's that were deployed, her time spent assist her Mom at the children's clothing closet and her running the Bingo Games. Libby also supported through countless hours of volunteerism the Military Order of Purple Heart Chapter 423, through a myriad of chapter actives and fund raisers. Libby left behind her loving parents Frank and Lucille Keeser of Fountain, her loving son Tim Hoskins his wife Jasmine Hoskins, granddaughter Shaolin Hoskins, brothers James and Edward Keeser and sisters Lynn Roddam and Mary Keeser, and extended family of nieces and nephews and many friends and supporters. Libby you left us too soon; we are so blessed having known your kindness and generosity. Your smile, kind word and warm hugs will be missed. A celebration of Libby's life will be held Saturday 19 April at the Military Order of Purple Heart Chapter 423, located at 2 Carson Circle, Fountain Colorado 80817 at 11am.
