Obituary
Obituary of Ronald "Jeff" Jeffrey Cox
First breath, January 4, 1969. Last breath, April 23, 2014. Jeff was a hunter, fisherman, and general outdoorsman. He spent much of his childhood in the mountains at Skagway and Bison Reservoir. Jeff also participated in 4H growing up and comes from a true pioneer family. Jeff enjoyed teaching many people, including his children and their friends, how to shoot BB guns and fish. He especially enjoyed the times he had fishing with his nieces. Although, there were several times Jeff's fishing pole ended up in pieces farther up the bank with fishing line everywhere, he still had fun. Jeff was an amazing husband, father, and friend. Everyone he met along his travels became a friend, never a forgotten stranger. Jeff's friendships meant the world to him and he felt fortunate to have many. Even if there was time between visits, he knew that if he needed anything they were always just a phone call away. Jeff will be missed by many. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Amanda Cox; Matriarch, Charlotte Cox; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Ruth Mowers; brother, David Greenlee; sisters, Karen (Jim) Muntzert, and Kimberley (John) Cox-York; sister-in-law, Kasie (Ken) Serfas; sons, Tylar Bowman, and Damon Cox; stepson, Austin Mowers; daughter, Morgan Cox; several nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends. Jeff would not want us to be sad, but to celebrate his life and share all the stories and memories we have of him.
