Obituary of Frank Majors
Frank Majors, 68, who has resided on the Westside of Colorado Springs, Colorado for most of his life passed away at home with his loving wife of 38 years and his family and friends by his side. He made his transition in life on April 26, 2014. Frank was born on January 6, 1946 in San Diego, California to his loving parents Robert and Alberta (Sapp) Majors. He was one of seven children. He married his wife, Karen Majors, on August 28, 1975 and they enjoyed many years together watching their children and grandchildren grow. He was an apartment manager for several years in Colorado Springs. He enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos play football, a good day of fishing, a friendly game of poker, an evening at the stock car races, and, on occasion, hanging out with special friends listening to good music and having a cold one at his favorite tavern.He is survived by his wife, Karen; siblings, Graham, Sandra, Butch, and Tanis; his daughters, Sandi (Billy), and Tammy (James); nine grandchildren, Kathy, Kimberly, Christina, Karen, Ricky, Bradley, Desiree, Nathaniel, and Attalie; six great grandchildren, Gabby, Kyler, Wills, Sife, Benson, Josiah, and Eliza; as well as several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased in death by his parents, Robert and Alberta Majors; his sisters, Terry, and Marsha; and his son, Ricky, Sr.A Memorial Service will be held to honor his life on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 2:00PM at the First Bible Missionary Church located on 420 North 17th Street.
