Obituary of Kiyoe "Yuki" Hayakawa Johnson
Yuki, who was born on October 28, 1935 in Tokyo, Japan, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 29, 2014. Yuki became a military wife when she met and married Jesse Herman Johnson, who preceded her in death, in Tokyo, Japan. The military eventually brought them to Fort Carson and her beloved Colorado Springs, where they raised their family. She is survived by her daughters, Doris Hardy, and Linda Johnson; son, Steven (Dawn) Johnson; siblings, Takeshi Hayakawa, and Miwako Kawakami; granddaughters, Amanda, and Jessica Johnson; and grandson, Alexander Ayala. Yuki would want to acknowledge and thank her caregivers, Debbie, Kacee, and Cindy. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Graveside Service, 1:00PM, Monday, May 5, 2014, at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 South Hancock Avenue.
