Obituary of Robert Pepin

Robert Pepin, 86, of Colorado Springs passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2014. He was born on September 10, 1927 in Lowell, Massachusetts to Clara (Bachand), and James Pepin. Robert was both the youngest and last surviving of twelve siblings. He married Agnes Louise (Snow-Willis) in 1960 while stationed in Wisconsin. Robert attained the rank of Master Sergeant after serving in both the Army and Air Force for a total of twenty-three years. Robert and Louise relocated to Colorado Springs. In retirement Robert worked in RV sales at Apache Camping Center as well as in maintenance at the U. S. Air Force Academy and local golf Courses. Robert enjoyed golfing, camping, square dancing, and travel. He was also very involved with Ute Lakes Fishing & Recreational Club, where he spent time with friends and family at their cabin as well as teaching three generations of his family to fish. You wouldn't be surprised to find him walking in the mall, talking with new people, or sharing a cup of coffee with friends over a 'seniors' cup of coffee at McDonalds. Robert is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Louise; children, Judith Cahoon, and Kenneth Willis; Granddaughter, Leah (John) Hall; Grandson, Ahren (Trudie); and five great-grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Alpine Autism Center of Colorado Springs, 2760 Fieldstone Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919, where Robert's great-grandson attends.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Sunnyside Christian Church, 2025 North Murray Boulevard.Funeral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909 Events Service Thursday, May 15, 2014 10:00AM Sunnyside Christian Church 2025 N.
