9/30/16....I have been trying to find Mr. Lawrence for so many years. I was one of the students at North Torrance High School when he taught there. He would have meetings at lunch in the "upper room" where we could come and discuss the bible and teachings. This school was the basis for his book..... He was such a bright light in my life and so many others..... I have never forgotten him. He used to lead meetings in my home and teenagers from all over would come. I was one who was baptized along with my friends at Pat Boone's house with Mr. Lawrence leading the way. I know where he is now, but throughout my adult life have never ever forgotten his profound impact on my life, my children, friends and parents. He truly shined bright with the love of God and everyone knew it. That is what brought so many of us to the Lord. Jesus surely used him to bless so many and have us know the life that all should be able to have - a close relationship with Jesus. I have missed him and look forward to seeing him again when I meet Jesus.

Not a day will go by that I don't think of you dad. I am forever thankful for your unconditional love. I pray that I can become half the person that you were. Linda, I am sorry for the loss of Mr. Lawrence, I was so pleased to have had the opportunity to know him, he was a an amazing person. I first met Mr. Lawrence at Family Fun Day, I had just accepted a position at SKSF and Deedee invited me to come. When Peltrie and I walked up to the event, there Bill was in one of his silly hats, welcoming us with the most amazing smile and spirit, and I knew then that I had come to work in the right place. Linda and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed everyday when Bill would come into the bank with all of his 'paper work'. Things had to be just right so that the accounting was not messed up. His smile was large and bright enough to enlighten the darkest of days.
