Obituary of Edith Anna Wilson

Edith Anna Wilson was born November 23, 1918 to Julius and Dora Bockelman near Brazilton, Kansas. She went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 2, 2014, passing quietly in her sleep. Edith married Clifford S. Wilson May 4, 1947 in Wichita, KS and spent her entire married life as a homemaker. They were married nearly 41 years. She left behind a daughter; Nancy (Ray) Hawley of Colorado Springs, two grandsons; Ed Hawley of Colorado Springs, Tim (Megan) Hawley of Gypsum, CO.; brothers , Laverne (Ella) Bockelman of Pittsburg, KS , Kenneth (Betty) Bockelman of Wichita, KS ; one great-granddaughter: Zita Edith Hawley; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford S. Wilson; her parents; one brother, Ray Bockelman; one son, Jim Wilson; and a granddaughter and grandson; Tina and Doyle Hawley.Visitation will be from 12:00PM to 1:00PM, Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Circle Drive Baptist Church, 801 N. Circle Drive with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00PM at the Church.Burial will be in Wichita, Kansas.
