I'm sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing. Although I have known her my entire life, I never really talked to her until sporadically within the last twenty years. When I was younger, the fact that she was 10 years older and we were usually living 1,400 miles apart made me categorize her as a seldom seen aunt rather than a cousin and peer. However, one thing I'll never forget was that whenever I attended any family gathering, she was one person everyone was glad to see. Her friendship, generosity and hospitality are deeply appreciated and I offer her children and family my condolences.

Mary Ann was a very special and unique person. She always made you feel that she was excited and glad she had the chance to visit and spend time with you. We will miss her wonderful laugh and her enthusiasm for life. To me there was never a dull moment with her around. She had a way of making every meeting a special one. RIP Mary Ann!

I am so sorry it took my Aunt's passing to realize how truly long it has been since I have been in touch with Aunt Mary Ann and my cousins. Life has a way of passing us by so quickly and we always think there is a "tomorrow". May my Aunt Mary Ann and my Uncle Paul rest in peace and be blessed with everlasting love and companionship together. With love, Margo (Hoffman) Pisacano

Mary Ann will be greatly missed by her Church of the Painted Hills UCC family here in Tucson, Arizona. She was very compassionate, a great friend, brought awesome ideas and thoughts to our book discussions on a wide range of topics, and was a part of our church fun. Her life perspective was very thought provoking and we highly respected her. My Mother greatly misses her weekly conversations with Mary Ann. Our condolences go out to all of Mary Ann's family and friends.

Heaven has welcomed a very special woman! Mary Ann was one of the most joyful, intelligent, caring and loving women I've ever known, and it was an honor to be her friend. The red hat photo is pure Mary Ann! And I loved seeing the photos of her and Paul with his arm around her, and knowing that his arm is around her again now...and she probably doesn't even need her "sticks!" She was so blessed to have you children to love and care for her, and we were all blessed to have her in our lives. One of my favorite memories is of her and Paul on the dance floor together at Eddie and Jenn's wedding. And also of the two of us ringing our bells at ALL those hockey games. Her laughter will always be a part of every great memory, and she will be missed so much. Go with joy, Mary Ann!

My deepest sympathies on the passing of your Mother. Your father was one my early doctoral students at the University of Arizona. I knew both of your parents well. I was very glad to call them "good friends" and such devoted partners to each other.

During my years in Menomonie, Mary Ann was one of those "I'm in your corner" people who was always supportive of me as a young mom. Her wonderful smile and laugh truly could turn your day around. She was a tireless worker at church, a wonderful mom, and an authentic inspiration. My condolences to her entire family.
