Obituary of Neil Patrick Kehler

Neil Kehler, 27, a resident of Arvada, Colorado, passed away on August 4, 2014. Neil was born in Houston, Texas on November 11, 1986. Neil moved to Colorado Springs with his family in 1998. He then moved to Arvada in March 2012 to start a job with Miller Coors. Neil recently started a new job with Sysco in Denver, and he was enjoying his new job and coworkers.Neil loved working out and enjoyed time with family and friends. Lifting weights at the gym was a passion for him. Neil also loved cars, and he was always thinking about his next car and how he might customize it. He loved his animals, especially his dog Dillon and his cats, Hugo and Hunter. He had a great sense of humor that will be missed by his family and friends.Neil is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lynn Ella Kehler; his grandfather, Frank Howell; and his grandmother, Wincie Howell. Neil is survived by his parents, Lynn and Frances Kehler; his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Alex Thompson; his uncle, Frank Howell; his cousin, Echo Robbins and her husband, Matt Robbins; and many extended relatives.Celebration of Life, 1:30PM, Monday, August 11, 2014, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Neil's name to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, 610 Abbot Lane, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80905.
