Obituary of Gisela Elfriede Seaburn

Gisela Seaburn, age 82, a resident of Widefield, Colorado for many years passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at her home after a long illness. She was an Air Force wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and great- grandmother.Gisela Elfriede Tilgert was born on March 22, 1932 in Dortmund, Germany to the late Karl and Irmgard Tilgart. She graduated from school in Germany and later married Lewis Orville Seaburn on August 13, 1959 in Wiesbaden, Germany.Gisela and Lewis loved to dance, go out to dinner, take trips to Cripple Creek and travel. She will be best remembered for her loving kindness and her flower garden.She is survived by her husband, Captain Lewis O. Seaburn, USAF (Ret.) of Widefield, Colorado; and her daughters, Cindy Lou Seaburn and Sandra Lynn Roll of Widefield. She is also survived by her sisters, Crystal and Ursula of Germany; two grandsons, Shawn Smith of Ellington, Florida and Zachery Seaburn of Widefield; two granddaughters, Christina Viktoria and Leah Gisela Roll of Widefield; and two great-granddaughters, Emma and Olivia.Visitation, 12:00PM–2:00PM, Friday, August 22, 1014, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
