Obituary of Rosita Maria Palomarez
Rose, 73, a Colorado Springs Native, passed away on August 26, 2014.She was born to the late Juan and Antonia (Quintana) Ontiveros on June 18, 1941 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Rose graduated from St. Mary's High School in Colorado Springs and was a civil service employee at Fort Carson from 1964 until her retirement in 1998. She was also an employee of District 11 Schools for 16 years.Rose was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was strong, kind, independent, and a private person. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Antonia Ontiveros; and a sister, Mary Holguine.Rose is survived by her son, Juan (Melissa) Palomarez; three grandchildren, John, Ashley and Antonio; and her sisters, Pauline Perea and Josephine Ontiveros-Roberts.
