Obituary of Bert Matthew Blea

Bert "Matthew" Blea, 52, was born September 23, 1961 in Leadville, Colorado where he was raised to Felipe and Cornelia (Medina) Blea. He passed away on September 7, 2014 at his home in Colorado Springs.Matthew Blea was an accomplished Social Worker with the state of Colorado after receiving his Master's Degree from Denver University. He became Chief Social Worker where he passionately got to work with those who were troubled for the last 18 years. He had a love for camping and the outdoors, fine art and poetry, as well as Native American Culture.He is survived by Katherine Blea, mother to his children, Elena and Andres.
