Obituary of Thomas Lee Vanderwerf

Thomas Lee Vanderwerf, 52, passed away September 9, 2014 in Colorado Springs.He was born June 7, 1962 at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. His childhood was spent living in numerous states, also in England and Germany. He was a graduate of Doherty High School.Tom was a M.P. in the Army, Serving in Germany and Washington D.C. He was a Colorado State Correctional Officer until having to leave when Multiple Sclerosis rendered him incapable of performing his duties.Tom is survived by his daughter, Stephanie; his son, T.J.; former wife, Diana; mother, Sally; and brothers, James and Simon.He was preceded in death by his father, H.T.
