To the Crookton family; I saw your son obituary and felt I had too reach out too you. When someone so young dies like Jake, you feel like something is wrong with this picture. I can't begin too tell you how my heart goes out too you doing this very difficult time in your life. I'm sure many thoughts and questions are filling your mind at this time. However, I wanted too share with you some of my favorites scripture. I firmly believe in the resurrection hope expressed in the Bible. John 11:11, 14-44: â

My heart is touched by young Jacob dying. His life was too short. I am truly sorry. I know words cannot express the pain that I know is felt over your loss. Life is hard today with so much suffering and death but God is not to be blamed. (James 1:13) God has promised to "swallow up death forever", and "put an end to all sickness". (Isaiah 25:8; John 5:28-29; Rev 21:4-5; Psalm 37:9-11,29). These were of great comfort to me when I lost my loved one and I wanted to share them with your Family. May these scriptures bring you peace as you read and meditate on them. My sincere sympathy

To the parents of Jake, my son is also a student of Doherty and was shocked with Jakes passing. I said the following to my son.......life is not promised to any of us and we never know the time nor place, or how we may rise to the gates of heaven. Although his passing can be viewed as a tragic way, don't believe that! God wanted him to leave a message to all when he passed and that message was Unconditional Love and Communication. Not saying that Jake didn't have that in his life but God wanted all others to reflect on their lives and treatment of others because Jake was an awesome kid and he didn't want his death to be in vain but to leave his mark by leaving us all a message LOVE ONE ANOTHER. My thoughts and prayers are will Jake, each and everyone of his family members, and his friends, and all others that he may have touched.
