Obituary of Leon Walter Lasha
Beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Leon Lasha, age 75, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at his home in Colorado Springs following complications of Parkinson's disease. He was a salesman, business owner, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His hobbies included avid fishing and hunting at his "secret place" which he never revealed to anyone, and he took every opportunity he could to run up to Cripple Creek.Leon Walter Lasha was born on August 9, 1939 in Ada, Minnesota to the late Leo and Martha (Kjos) Lasha. He was raised in Florence, Colorado and graduated with the class of 1957. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kay; his son: Raymond Lasha; his daughter: Laura (Avery) Scott; his brothers: Larry Lasha, Lonnie (Suzanne) Lasha and four grandsons: Anthony (Beth) Ramsey, Debray Scott, Kevin Lasha and Kenneth Brown; and three great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. At his request, no services are planned.
