Obituary of Lola Malacara
Lola Malacara was born April 3, 1942 in Laramie, Wyoming, the daughter of Juan and Semona Armijo. She died October 28, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Lola worked for Current, Inc in Colorado Springs for 30 years where she was a clerk analyst. She married Al Malacara on June 4, 1966 in Laramie, Wyoming.Lola was a kind, loving, accepting woman and an inspiration to everyone she met. Her smile radiated her beauty and love. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who absolutely loved spending time with her kids and grand kids and going to the movies. She found great pleasure in the outdoors and working on her yard. Fall was her favorite time of year. Lola leaves behind to remember her, her husband of 48 years Al Malacara; her sons: Dakota Frank (Christian A.) Malacara and Tony A. (Marsha D.) Malacara; her grandson, Jordan P. Malacara; granddaughter, Madison P. Malacara; four brothers Frank, Tilano, Amos, and James "Bobby" Armijo, two sisters, Mary Porter and Emily Leszczynski and hundreds of nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.She was preceded in death by her parents Juan and Semona Armijo and three brothers, Clark, Herman and Johnny Armijo.Visitation will be 4:00PM to 7:00PM Friday, October 31, 2014 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado.Funeral Services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Friendship Assembly of God Church, 3685 New Center Point, Colorado Springs, Colorado, with burial following at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 South Hancock, Colorado Springs, Colorado.Funeral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909
