Obituary of Beatrice Mary Elliott

Bea Elliott, age 86, passed away quietly on December 10, 2014 at the Emeritus Care Center in Colorado Springs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who had retired after working in nursing homes in Pratt, Kansas as a Certified Medication Aide.Beatrice Mary Pierce was born on December 6, 1928 in Glade, Texas to the Glen and Myrtle Pierce. She attended schools in Texas and Kansas and received her GED in Pratt. She married Gilbert L. Elliott on April 5, 1941. They were member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Pratt.Beatrice enjoyed dancing, fishing, gardening and the Dallas Cowboys. She especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren and the special times that they shared as a family. She will be best remembered for her kindness, gentle heart, her sense of humor and wonderful smile. We will dearly miss her laughter. She was loved by so many.She is survived by her son: Bill R. Elliott; her daughters: Mary Gross and Nancy Elliott; fifteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.Graveside services are planned for 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S.
