Obituary of Kenneth Al Berkenbile
Sunrise: February 9, 1980 in Pueblo, ColoradoSunset: December 12, 2014 in Colorado Springs, ColoradoKen grew up on the west side of Pueblo and was very proud of that. He had a very big passion for food and cooking, so that was the career he held as well as his favorite pass time. He was a meatcutter at Franks Meat Market as well as a cook at numerous places in town. A very loyal, dependable person he was always at work; however, on the off chance he was home, he occupied his time cooking, barbequing, smoking meats, or watching his beloved cooking channel. Ken was a diehard Raiders fan. No matter how they played, he was loyal through and through. To know Ken was to love him. Known to some as "Tank", to close friends as "Kenny" and family as "Berky" he had a huge heart, helping as many people as he could from financial to living situations, whatever he could do he would make a 100% effort to help in any way possible. Ken was a devoted and loving father, husband, son, uncle, and brother to more than just his relations but to every person he held close to him. If you were a part of his life, you were family to Ken.He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Jennifer Berkenbile; son, Richard Cardenas II; mother, Natalie Peralta; father, Kenneth W. Berkenbile; stepfather, Patrick Johnson; brothers, Christopher (Jennifer) Berkenbile, Chazaray Berkenbile and Michael (Rubina) Berkenbile; godchildren, Nathaniel Barlow and Jennifer Copley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
