Obituary of Jeffery Scott Reagan
Jeffery "Jeff" Scott Reagan, 46, passed away on December 16, 2014. He was born on August 13, 1968 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Keith and Beverly Reagan. He was the youngest of three boys. He graduated from Rampart High School in 1986. In 1987, he joined the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served our country during the Gulf War and was a decorated combat Marine. He performed a variety of duties including acting as a fire team leader, squad automatic machine gunner, and assistant machine gunner. As a Marine, Jeff gained many brothers in arms, to whom he now stands guard for at Heaven's Gate – Semper Fi – Oorah.In 1995, after his time in the USMC, he went to Virginia where he played semi-pro football for the Mutiny, and thereafter college football for George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Political History with a minor in Business Administration; and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Secondary Education Social Studies.In 2004, Jeff started teaching grades 7 to 10 in the Fairfax County Public Schools. He taught U.S. History, Civics and World History. He was also an assistant football coach. Jeff had a passion for teaching and coaching. He is survived by his father, Keith Reagan; his brother, Jim Reagan; his daughter, Kaleigh Reagan; and his son, Ethan Warren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Reagan; and his brother Jay Reagan.Visitation, 6PM-8PM, Friday, January 2, 2015 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO. Graveside Service 10AM sharp, Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Eastonville Cemetery, 12558 Meridian Road at Latigo Blvd, Black Forest.
