Obituary of Thora Isabelle Netzel

Surviving Thora are her loving husband Leonard, seven loving children and their families with twenty-six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She graduated from St. Boniface grade school, St. Mary's Academy, Suma Cum Laude and Cardinal Stritch College, all in Milwaukee, WI. She then taught primary grades in Milwaukee, WI for two years before marrying Leonard. They lived in Illinois, California and Colorado during their 59 years with their very happy and blessed family. Thora devoted her time and energy to raising and loving her children, which gave her the most pleasure in life. She was always quick to smile and was forever laughing! She was so proud of her growing family and all of the blessings God had given her. She never failed to extend her kindness to everyone she met. She showed us how to love unconditionally and continued to be ever gracious as she continued to bless us on her journey to heaven by smiling, laughing and loving us to the very end. Her legacy will live on through her husband, Leonard; children, Therese (Bob) Bote, Thomas (Jill) Netzel, Kenneth (Debbie) Netzel, James (Nancy) Netzel, Robert (Renee) Netzel, Jeanne (Joel) Waneka, Joanne (Dan) Ambuul; her grandchildren, Sarah (Nathan) Shiver, Danny (Stacie) Bote, Mark Bote, David (Rachel) Bote, Luke Bote, Tanya Netzel, Jessica Netzel, AllyBelle Netzel, Ben Netzel, Danny Netzel, Sarina Netzel, Michael Netzel, Lisa Netzel, Greg Netzel, Rebecca Waneka, Ryan Waneka, Regan Waneka, Daniel Ambuul, John Ambuul, Max Ambuul, Christopher Ambuul, Margaret Ambuul, Jane Ambuul, Peter Ambuul, Mary Ambuul, Kate Ambuul and great-grandchildren, Bode Shiver, Blake Shiver, Hadassah Shiver, Zeke Bote, Josiah Bote, Lucy Bote, Ryder Waneka, Eli Netzel-Pena.
