Obituary of Helen Thomas Crosby
Helen T. Crosby, a native Coloradan, passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs. She was born in Trinidad to Meryl and Arthur Thomas. Helen was caring, inquisitive, and possessed a delightful sense of humor. She trained at Denver Children's Hospital for the Cadet Nurse Corps, and worked as a registered nurse for many years.Helen was involved in her church, especially with United Methodist Women, always being of help in some way. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Charles Henry Crosby; her son, Larry Crosby; and her sister, Barbara Thomas Shader. Survivors include daughter, Christine (Keith) Hodges of Colorado Springs; brother, William E. Thomas of Wisconsin; daughter-in-law, Sandy Crosby of Falcon; four grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her memorial service will be held at 10:30AM, January 17, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 4210 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80917.
