Todd: I will miss you "Brotha!" It's funny how much I used to tattle on you and you used to pick on me as children, but how we became such great friends as adults. I will miss our Sunday chats, especially during football season while making fun of USC, when ASU is beating them...if only for a second...and you'd hang up on me. What a riot. I'd laugh so hard. So many great memories. Your resume is amazing, yet you never bragged about what you've accomplished. I knew you worked very hard but had no idea the magnitude until I read your bio on the Air Force Academy's website. It's amazing to me that you accomplished so much before you were 50 years old. You and Tracey must have taken all the smart genes. Well, smart*** genes is more like it! HA! I will always be proud to call you my brother and will miss you very much!!! Cindy, Deanna and I are heartbroken to hear about Todd's passing and for your loss. It comes as a total shock and please accept our prayers and thoughts at this time. We count the years we spent together in NC as our best. Todd was my best friend and mentor during our days as commanders together and could always count on him for solid advice and a sounding board. I am devastated! My condolences go out to all of those affected. Cindy, you are in my thoughts and I hope only good days lay ahead and you can reminisce on the wonderful memories. I am so happy to have had crossed paths with him, for he was the BEST Commander/Boss/Friend one could have. The first time I brought my kids to work, upon greeting, for some reason they felt the need to hang on his legs. Trying to walk to his office with two kids in-tow on his feet, all we could do was laugh. His presence had good energy, that children were drawn to him. He was a wonderful person and we all yearned for his happiness. Peace and love from my heart to yours.

Just saw some fb traffic today and found out of Todd's passing. I too am in shock of this sad news. Sympathies to the family and my heart truly goes out to you, my ol' friend Cindy. I'm thinking of you and hoping you will find a little comfort knowing you and Todd have many people who love you so much. I am mourning right beside you. Todd and I worked side by side in the Pentagon in the worst of circumstances as far as quality of life. He always made it fun---lots of memories of Todd and his crazy antics! He was loved and will be missed by many, but none will miss him more than Cindy and his family. Rest in peace, Todd.
