Obituary of Michael "Mike" Washington

Mike was born in Lumberton, North Carolina to Gradis & Maezonia Washington. He was a longtime resident of Colorado Springs. He was a realtor for twenty years and served our country in the US Army for 24 years before retiring as a Sergeant Major.He had deep roots and was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church and served as their Head Usher. He served as treasurer and was a member of the Shriners Kadesia Temple, he was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Military Mountain Lodge.Mike loved southern cooking and Coca-Cola; he owned more luxury bath products than any other girl in the family!He was very dedicated to the military, his church, his real estate career and to his family and friends.He is survived by a son, Frank (Manuela) Washington; a brother, Daryl Washington; two sisters, Phyllis and Marilyn Washington; two grandsons, Adam and Camden Washington; and three granddaughters, Amanda Cummings, Monika Washington and Ariel Washington.
