Obituary of William "Bill" Ernest Barksdale III

Bill Barksdale, age 50, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs died on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his home in Colorado Springs. He was a Pizza Delivery Person who had worked for more than 20 years for Pizza Hut and Papa John's Pizza.William Ernest Barksdale III was born on October 18, 1964 in San Jose, California to William and Martha (Cross) Barksdale. He was a 1982 graduate of Wasson High School and served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1984 to 1988. He worked for a time at the Red Lion Inn and enjoyed restaurant work and the joy of cooking. He also enjoyed hunting & fishing, poker tournaments and gaming with friends.He is survived by his son, Web Barksdale of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his daughter, Ally (Justin) Franklin of Lakeland, Florida; his mother, Martha Kay Barksdale of Colorado Springs; his brother, Richard J. Barksdale of Mesita, Colorado; his former wife, Andrea J. Chavez and her daughter, Amanda J. Holt of Colorado Springs.
