Obituary of Peggy J. Mills

Peggy Mills, age 89, a homemaker, formerly of Christmas Island, Nova Scotia, Canada, passed away on January 27, 2015 at a local healthcare center. She was also a loving mother, grandmother, sister, great-grandmother and aunt. Margaret James MacKenzie was born on September 20th, 1925 on Christmas Island, Nova Scotia, Canada to the late Alec and Margaret (MacNeil) MacKenzie. She married Robert Silas Mills on February 2, 1955 in Las Vegas, Nevada.She is survived by her three children: Gary Mills of Colorado Springs; Melodie (and Chess) Roy on Emerald Mountain, Alabama and Mary Mills of Colorado Springs. She has five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.She is also survived by her three sisters: Catherine, Theresa and Flora, all of Christmas Island, Nova Scotia.Graveside Services will be held at 11am on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Evergreen Cemetery.
