Obituary of Patrick Laurence Mills

Patrick Laurence Mills, born July 25, 1975, passed away at home on January 28, after an extended illness. Finally the battle is over and God has taken him home to be at peace. A devoted husband, Patrick will be deeply missed by his wife Rebekah, and their two Great Danes, Stella and Atlas. He is also survived by his mother, Gail Gardner; brother, Sam Gardner-Montanya and wife Kate, and their two sons Felix and Bruno; brother Alexander (Sandy) Mills and wife Genevieve, and their daughter Maeve. Patrick had a powerful intellect and was a lover of all things technical and philosophical. He was an accomplished welder, inventor, computer and electrical engineer, photographer, artist, chef, mechanic, mountain bike racer, fencer, mountaineer, and wilderness adventurer. Patrick loved to laugh. He was a mischievous and gentle soul with the heart of a child. He had a deeply private spirituality, but loved God and extended that love to others in all he did. A celebration of his extraordinary life will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday February 7, 2015 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E.
