Obituary of Leslie Earl Bruening

Les Bruening, 67, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 after a brief illness. He was a Union Printer who had worked for the Washington Post. Leslie Earl Bruening was born on October 22, 1947 in Colorado Springs to the late John G. and Vera M. Manning Bruening. He attended the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind. Les graduated from Gallaudet University in 1975 where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.Les was an avid student of his family's genealogy and spent much time researching and corresponding with relatives and local government offices in various states filling in and documenting the Bruening family tree. Les was a proud Native American and member of the Creek Nation. He is survived by his brother, John G.
