Obituary of Sue Ellen Fleck

Sue Fleck, 61, a resident of Falcon, Colorado since August of 1995, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at her home in Falcon. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.Sue Ellen McClatchey was born on September 30, 1953 in Fulton, Missouri to the late A.J. and Ethel Reda Grothaus McClatchey. She was raised in Northglenn, Colorado and was a 1971 graduate of Northglenn High School. She married Richard G. Fleck on May 26, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada. A woman of family and faith, Sue enjoyed her grandchildren, camping, holidays with her family, spending time in the mountains, and homeschooling two generations of her children and grandchildren. An incredibly resourceful woman, Sue was a wellspring of wisdom and advice for her family and friends, an indispensable presence in everyone's daily life. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her eldest son, Evan Fleck.She is survived by her husband, Rick; her son and daughter-in-law, Colin and Maggie Fleck; her daughter, Alyna Douglass; and her ten wonderful grandchildren, IvyRose, Lily, Colin, William, Aspen, Teddy, Cashlin, Jane, Marshal and Henry. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Cary and Maureen McClatchey. Memorial Services, 10:00AM, Saturday, March 21, 2015, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Private interment will be Crown Hill Cemetery in Lakewood, Colorado.
