Obituary of William "Mike" Michael Bricker

William Michael "Mike" Bricker, 44, passed away March 20, 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on August 13, 1970 in Canton, Georgia. Mike was born and raised in Canton, Georgia. He attended Cherokee High School and upon graduation enlisted in the United States Army. His first duty station was Hanau, Germany. He was a combat veteran of the Persian Gulf War in the campaigns Desert Storm/Desert Shield. He was transferred to A. CO 8/101st Airborne Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky where he met and married his wife, Christal Bricker. Mike joined the Special Operations Aviation Regiment, A CO 1/160th "Night Stalkers" where he served with pride and distinction attaining the rank of E-6 at age 25. Mike finished his tour of duty and left the military in May of 1996 for a career in Real Estate, and construction with his family's business in Canton. In 2000, he moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where he continued his career in the construction industry. In 2013, Mike started his own business, Craftsman Roofing, LTD. He was a member of Fountain Valley Lodge #191 and Enlightenment Lodge #198. Mike is survived by his wife of 22 years, Christal Bricker. Mike and Christal had three children; their daughter, Caitlin, 23, their son, Kyle, 17, and their foster child, Giavanna, 14. He is also survived by his father, Jack Bricker, 75, of Canton, Georgia; his sister, Teresa Norton, her spouse, Jimmy Norton, and their sons, Zack and Van; and his brother, Mark Bricker, his wife Lisa, and their son, Bradley.
