Obituary of Willie Alvin Harris, Jr.

Willie was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Willie & Barbara Harris. He was a longtime Colorado Springs resident, proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, and worked as a Chef at Ft. Carson.He is survived by his beloved family; daughters, Yavonne (Gerald Vincent) Gunn, Alecia (Jarvis Smith) Gunn, Kendra Harris; sons, Donell Gunn, Jerome Gunn and Willie (Amanda) Harris III; sisters, Sharon (Robin) Reed, Sherrie (Michael) Dewberry, Lanita Harris-Thomas, Rhonda Harris Wright; brother, Garold Wayne (Mary) Harris; aunt, Deloris (Cecil) Dawson; uncle, Elroy (Peggy) Hutcherson and fourteen grandchildren.Visitation, 4:00PM-7:00PM, Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue.Funeral Service, 10:00AM, Thursday, April 30, 2015 at The Springs Funeral Services.
