Obituary of Mildred "Millie" May Guyer

Mildred Guyer, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at a local care center. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who had also managed several restaurants.Mildred May Hieronymus was born on May 6, 1933 in Florence, Colorado, one of six children to the late James and Clara (Arnold) Hieronymus. She was a 1951 graduate of Eads High School. She married Virgil Guyer on December 24, 1957 in Colorado Springs. She attended modeling school and worked for various agencies in her youth. She was a collector of Betty Boop, angels and dolls.She is survived by her three children: Donnie (and Vera) Guyer of Calhan, Colorado; Cyndi Geer (and Michael Geer) of Calhan; and Melody (and Robert) Peters of Alliance, Nebraska. She has 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great -great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgil Guyer and her son: Kent Edward Zordel and her granddaughter, Tinamay.Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Calhan Cemetery.
